This is a commission I've done for a postcard

Due to personal reason, I am unable to upload the completed version.

In this piece I'm experimenting with roses and the lighting for armour which I've not drawn since...well, the roses must have been at least 6 years ago and the armour lighting never...oh horror

Of the five founding families who guard the elemental runes, no individual is more mysterious than perhaps the Sage of Lighting.

The Sage of Lighting or the Lighting Emporer as he is known in the homeland was said to have been the teacher who guided the other families. It is a widely accepted belief that he had been the original bearer of the Rune of Lighting. Not much is known about his motives or background, even his death is shrouded in mystery - although dark rumours abound that he was murdered by the ancestor of the current rulers.

The only consistancy in all the myths is this...that he left a curse upon the land for his murder that will wash the land in blood if nothing is done within 200 years of his death.

The truth of this myth might soon be reveal of only 10 years remain till that day

I was abit upset about how Pharaun's ending was. Thus in a fit of annoyance, I vented my frustration into creating a drow wizard piece. This picture is the result, the drow wizard here is creating Shikioji- Japanese paper golems that have been used to curse or (usually) to kill a person.

I took special care to create a fungus, mushroom and rock garden in accordance with the story in forgotten realms

In some versions of the story 'The Happy Prince', there is the following ending. After the sad fate where the happy prince's lead heart and the dead swallow were thrown in the city dump, an angel was instructed to go to the city and bring back to heaven the most precious thing it had to offer.

The angel flew to the city dump and retrieved the body of the dead swallow and the broken heart of the prince. When the angel returned, he was told 'you have chosen well'.

I've decided to draw the scene where the angel retrieved the bird and the heart. In this piece, I've intentionally drawn the angel dirty to reflect how precious he believe them to be even wrapping them carefully in his own robes

It is said that the young Yorshitune was trained by the Tengu king during his youth.

Tengus are said to have fearsome appearances thus the Tengu king masked himself so as not to frighten the boy.

I had originally prepared this for a cosplay fair.

This is an execise in screentones I did for Mage Manga class

'As Alvon holds his wife Eurydice in these last moments of her life he bitterly wonders which cruel deity is it that allows such a selfish love such as theirs to exist where one departs to leave the other to moun for many years to come.' Many a fantasy story celebrate the love between an elf and a human as the greatest thing that could happen. My personal opinion is that it is one of the most tragic events that could happen.

Saw the headpiece in a magazine and was decided to draw a character to match the jewellery
